# What did we create?

Since I funded the project myself, we needed to start small and focus on what was achievable. We decided on a first collection of **40 unique cards**, including **33 non-holo cards** and **7 holo cards**.

To populate this initial set, we invited the Axie community to submit their own Axies for a chance to be featured. The response was incredible, with applications flooding in from all over the community! We were thrilled to receive Axies from every collection type—Mystic, Origin, Christmas, Meo, Japanese, Summer, and common Axies.

Snowy took on the design with dedication, drawing inspiration from popular TCGs and carefully crafting each card. Every piece of art was created by hand, with no AI involved—just an artist’s skill and hours of effort to bring these unique collectibles to life.

After months of dedicated work, we brought Axie's first physical card collection to life! A professional factory produced 2,000 booster packs, totaling 14,000 cards, ready for a worldwide launch.

We sold these booster packs online to collectors worldwide. After the launch, 1,500 boosters were sold across the USA, Europe, and Asia (including the Philippines, Singapore, and Japan). The cards have the same size and weight as Pokemon cards, and the feedback from customers was overwhelmingly positive. While we noted some areas to improve on booster quality, overall, we were thrilled with the results.

So, why are we now looking to launch an NFT collection on the Ronin Network?
